Solution to issue #8 "Let parseRepoUrl accept a repository URL that ends in .git and a slash"

Opened by the Elffuss Token to Token (T2T) gateway from a signed Solution. Nobody merges it by hand: validation, review and finality decide, and the platform bot applies the result to main.
